No, as most of these pictures you have seen have been filtered and photoshopped, they certainly aren't all purple lol

Its been nice and quiet on Skye, there have still been tourists despite lockdown, if only the police had sat on the bridge and told them to bugger off.

A couple of years back even the tourists were complaining there were too many tourists. I dread to think how bad its going to get later this year.

Yes they are but like most places depends on the light. I didn’t see as much as I would have liked so intend going back this year if possible but had a look at prices and they seem to have jumped a lot.

Love Skye, such a stunning part of Scotland. Was lucky enough to visit a couple years back in October. Weather was a bit hit and miss at that time of year, but it was fairly quiet. I will hopefully be back xxx

It's been a few years since we were last there but hope to get back again soon. I'd like to do a bit more walking/scrambling/climbing in The Cuillins but a fab visit could be good too ??

near Glasgow

Sadly, only been to Portree, on a combined business and pleasure trip, with a lady friend. We had eats out the far end of the town on a lovely day.

If I remember correctly, we went out over the bridge as I had a call in Kyle, but came back on the boat.

I'd love to visit again.

Would love to. The last time I was there was as a boy scout. And that wasn't yesterday.

On the road to the Faerie pools just keep on driving. Eventually you’ll come to a black sanded beach. Wait till sunset and enjoy

Inverness

Lots of nice places to watch sunset, if you visit the normal tourist top 5 first thing in the morning it's usually quiet and in the afternoon visit other out the way places.

You can have a Fab time up here if you avoid the sheep, err I mean tourists (you can't avoid the sheep, they are everywhere)
