Nope, unless it's all together in one massive paragraph which makes it really difficult to read

If it's split into paragraphs / sentences and is easy to read, then it's not an issue to me if it's really long

always prefer a longer profile with a wee insight to the persons personality and stuff... makes it easier to base a converstaion on.. i hate porofiles that come across as a shopping list of demands though..

A lot of interesting points to take on board

Size does matter but it's quality you want not quantity

Following on from what everyone else has said, I definitely agree that a well written biog is great to read.

One pet hate, and I promise I'm not having a pop at the OP here although I am aware this is present in his profile, is a lack of punctuation and sentence structure. I'm not being a grammar nazi about this but if you're going to write a profile for people to get an idea of what you're like and what you're after, I don't want to have to fire up the Enigma machine to decipher it.

Aside from that, long biogs are all good in my book but others may have a different opinion.

Can't believe there is a guy being that fussy when there is one female to 1000 males , more info means you know what they want and when they want it. Read through and then you can decide if you like the sound of them , the short profiles has a 40 % chance it's a guy at the other end of the computer! Keep the long profiles up

Guys often get stick for their profiles, what they say and how they say it, but some women's profiles are a real joke, a pathetic one though!

Yards long with a list of likes and dislikes, dos and don'ts, and then the best ones, ALL IN CAPITAL LETTERS!!!

The more effort.... The more intriguing sometimes....

A well written and long profile gives a much clearer idea of what the person / couple is like.

If it's obvious that we are looking for different things, then I wouldn't bother sending them a memo, if it's ambiguous, then I will be more likely to send one - less mail for the other person, and less time writing memos for me.

Likewise, I figure that being open about what I offer / interest means that it's easy for people to decide if I'm of interest. Of course I would prefer them to be interested, but allowing people to get a clear image to reject me means that everyone saves time and con concentrate on the people there where is more likely to be chemistry.

So yes, long is good, and it's got to be easy to read, otherwise, I'm not going to finish it.

Regards

Sp
