SHHE is a solo female that is absolutely incredible, haunting and thought provoking music. Seeing her live is almost a psychotropic experience with the theatrical light show that accompanies her music

"Big Country definetly not underrated, one of the best bands to come out of Scotland. "

They did get tarred with the bagpipe guitar jibes ..and the infamous viz suggestion on saving money by buying a 7" instead of their Greatest Hits...but definitely underappreciated ..

"The Exploited

I (Sid) second “The Exploited” for sure! I actually was almost in a band with a guy that played drums for the exploited, we only did a few practice sessions though

If you like your Death metal though I highly recommend a band from up north I love called “Seed of Sorrow”

Goodbye Mr MacKenzie

Love and Money

Big Dish

Kevin McDermott (Orchestra)

Pearlfishers

all deserved more commercial success than they achieved

Deacon Blue probably deserve more critical acclaim than they got and for a section of the music press in 80s and 90s were forever saddled with Real Gone Kid, Fergus Sings The Blues and a 2nd album which was atypical of the rest of their back catalogue... they've been on a great run since 2012 again
