It appears that NS wants to accelerate the unlock if numbers remain low.

If she is still in power that is.

New covid levels for Scotland when lockdown eases

150 per 100,000 L4

100 per 100,000 L3

50 per 100,000 L2 Travel and pubs can serve alcohol

Looks like these have been cut by a 3rd from previous tier levels.

We know in most areas covid levels are dropping, the new guildines are recommend by the WHO.

I think being safe is the way to go but how safe is the question.

Then again judging by the dates previously released maybe they expect the numbers to be in line with the new guidelines.

Everyone from the owner of Glasgow airport to hospitality groups rightly roasted her so a quick U turn was on the cards.

Death rate is terrible but not the worst in the world. I think that is the USA when that other well known nationalist, Trump, was in charge.

No one suggested that the pubs reopen until safe to do so but businesses need time to plan reopenings to build up stocks, make any modifications to the buildings that are required and retrain staff if required.

I think its too early to open everything up at the moment and the tier system is still the best way to go until we see how the vaccine is working

No mate of mine bundling idiot but any idiot suggesting opening the airports when we won’t share our vaccine ! Today I hear explorers taking vaccines to remote areas of the world FFS stop exploring and stop spreading

i do hope you all realise that she has put no figures at all for when we may leave the tier system completely, all of these tiers disregard the fact that:

1.as time goes on more people are vaccinated and therefor are protected, 2. given that we have done this by age, the most vulnerable

3. the younger as less affected

4.not one of these tiers even tier 0 allows for the release from social distancing, masks or any other emergency measure put in during COBRA. Once COBRA is released by PM, she can't keep them in place without being in open rebellion against the crown/UK GOV...

does no one remember how the louisa jordan wasn't used for non covid patients? for almost a year!

she covered up the Nike outbreak in edinburgh feb 2019!

shoved covid pos patients from hospitals to care homes...

NHS Scotland is funded by Scot gov budget so all the failings there are down to SNP gov not UK gov.

she made it law that cops can walk in houses whenever they like without a warrant just to check who's all in your house!!
