"Chief Secretary to the Treasury Steve Barclay, said communities in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will now all benefit from at least £800million of investment by the UK Government. Councils will be given the money by the UK Government which will be used for town centre and high street regeneration and local transport schemes, as well as cultural and heritage projects which will be delivered for the benefit of local people. It comes as the nationalists were accused of betraying local services after rejecting a Scottish Conservative demand for fairer funding of Scotland’s councils." Taken from the the yoon express. Project fear in full swing now. Westminster power grab started. Bring it on

"Problem is the money has just bypassed the corrupt central government and went straight to the even more corrupt local government and councillors so the regeneration of the local high street and community will be yet another half arsed effort while the bigwigs line their pockets. " Westminster hasn’t funded regeneration in 300 years. It’s nothing more than a power grab.

"Annie wells who only got 2062 votes yet became elected because our electoral system is set to be proportional. Annie wells who got caught liking her and responding to her own tweets. " A TOP Nat tipped as the next First Minister told a schoolboy he was “cute” and invited him to dinner while bombarding him with 270 online messages. Finance Secretary Derek Mackay, 42, pestered the lad, 16, in private on Instagram and Facebook over six months after contacting him out of the blue

"Alex Salmond has accused Nicola Sturgeon of breaking the ministerial code and misleading parliament. He believes senior people around Scotland's first minister were part of a malicious attempt to have him removed from public life and ultimately jailed. Ms Sturgeon has dismissed the claims and said he has no evidence. The crisis could have significant implications for Scottish politics. "He's trying to bring the house down." That was the conclusion of one of Ms Sturgeon's close allies shortly after it emerged Mr Salmond was publicly accusing her of misleading the Scottish Parliament and breaking the ministerial code" What does that have to do with your original post?

Maybe if the current administration wasn't so corrupt and inefficient then there would be no need to go direct. Sturgeon is sitting on £100 million that was sent to remove flammable cladding and hasn't spent a penny. They were sent £200 million for Brexit preparations and didn't spend that either. Other cash sent and not given out to businesses for Covid relief. It's not a power grab but common sense when dealing with Sturgeon and her bunch of incompetents.

"Council budgets were only going up by 1 percent in 2021/22, compared to the Scottish Government receiving a 9 percent uplift. Annie Wells, Scottish Conservative MSP for Glasgow, said: “It's clear Scotland's councils get a rotten deal from the SNP government, which means the Scottish people are getting a bad deal too. "Let us be clear, long before the COVID-19 crisis began the SNP government has been short-changing Scotland's councils." Of course they have...look at the state of the roads, particularly in glasgow, full of pothole including on motorway which is dangerous. That big hospital has had 2 inquires into ventilation & water contamination pre-covid. She covered up the Nike Covid outbreak last feb...don't forget...she knew! her nightingale in glasgow....NEVER used until recently, it was supposed to be for outpatients...instead all other medical services have fell by the whey side. Never mind what the hell she is covering up in th salmond case...soething she doesn't want out in an election & I doubt Salmond will run since he hasn't announced...or that might be the plan entirely, push nikkki out to get back in..just in time for indy ref 2. she's literally try using emergency covid laws to try show Boris who wears the trousers, whilst telling us she's doing it for us. Plus if Boris revokes Cobra (emergency state & it's laws) in June/July all 4 nations have to as well or they are in open rebellion with the crown. We many have devolution but the UK Gov & Laws stand above all the rest.

(certainly the council ones) Some are under evaluation as to if they can remove t cheaper or if its cheaper to rebuild. they are actually moving quickly (for the council) but only really because they have knowingly allowed overcrowding and refused to move folk for so long & that would just be a disaster PR wise...just like grenfell if not worse.

"Every penny we get should bypass the Snatz till they account for every penny they have recieved. Not to be trusted " The books at Holyrood need to be audited. There seems to be about £3 billion unaccounted for which presumably is being hidden in a secret war chest for the next round of the constitutional debate and a possible illegal referendum. The SNP were given £100 million a year ago to help remove flamable cladding, they've not spent a penny. They were given £200 million for Brexit preparations and didn't spent that either. Money for covid relief has been "allocated" but not actually be given to the people who need it.

"Look folks Patrick Harvey is never gonna win an election. You ideals are aw in the clouds. Do you reeeeellly think a Scottish Tory government wouldn't Rob the crown jewels and hide the stone o scone again. They've got a leader who's more about fitbaw than politics. As for taking our money Westminster has robbed the Scots for centuries. And you've gotta hand it to them Brexit is going soooo well.... Labour...who? Never heard of em! Libdem... I've seen more yeti than libdems. Rather than shooting the SNP cos the others couldn't order a coffee from Costa without messing it up, sort out a party to actually do something! Or just go sit in the corner until your preferred colour actually does something right for a change!" I've heard it all before. Scots pay for HS2, Scots pay for the London underground, Scots subsidise England, England steals our water. It's just fantasy politics that doesn't bare scrutiny. Ask any Nat to list SNP successes and all you get is a list of freebies.

"Westminster now listening to the Majority of the People in Scotland and bypassing the SNP after the SNP “misplaced” £250 Billion in Covid relief funding which was supposed to reach Scottish businesses and Councils. Now the Counxils can get the funding they’ve been seeking directly from the Treasury so it can’t be “Misplaced” by the SNP anymore." In November they had been given a total of £13billion since the start of the pandemic so stop talking utter shite. £250 billion? Stop reading social media and then posting that drivel here.
