Yup had both. For the 2nd I was in right place right time and an opportunistic 2nd vac was offered to avoid wasting them.

The wife had her 2nd one last Friday.

I know it's been said alot but she had all the normal side effects from the 1st one and was told to take paracetamol before the 2nd one and to keep taking them for a couple of days, took them and no side effects just a bit of a sore arm.

Reply privatelyReply in forumReply +quote

Mrs Pf got hers today. Said it was easier than the first. All adults to have their first jab by 31st July so full roll-out of 2nd jab by 1st November.

There has been some reports of people feeling quite flu like for the 24hours after you get your 2nd vaccine. It's very short lived. It's like anything though some people are totally fine, others get a sore arm and then the rest feel a bit crap but keep yourself hydrated

Sad to say but Edinburgh is at the bottom of the league table for vaccine injections for the whole of the UK!

It would appear that most of the vaccine allocation is being deployed in the central belt and west.

Not worked out to well for a Covid rule compliant Edinburgh- last in line

Exactly, all doom and gloom.

Although let's all be thankful that the SNP hasn't yet dragged us off into the EU, their vaccine rollout has been a complete shambles.

The EU? Thank goodness for Brexit!!

Do you think the rollout of the vaccination in the UK has been a success ?

I can probably gauge you're answer as it's know surprise you've pretty much voiced it in the forum often enough.

But, interested too hear you're opinion regardless.

I can understand why you feel that way but being cautious till as many people as possible are vaccinated before we release restrictions is surely wise. My opinion only but I’m happy to go slow so we get it right

9 week gap between both jags.

I just hope that this whole bloody thing works.

I also heard that they are already selling Covid-19 vaccinations down the Barras. There fake through. £3 each or 2 for a Phizer...

(Maybe that one should have been in the tell a joke thread)
