No idea, I'm lost. Damn Sat nav!

Do you still look forward to them despite being locked down?

I do still get that weekend feeling of looking forward to long lies,a wee tipple of choice and a nice meal whether it's homemade or a takeaway!

So do you still look forward to your weekends ?

Definitely but then I am still working even if it is at home most of the time. It’s nice not to switch the laptop on.

The only downside is doing my shopping, since I only go once per week and get mums it takes hours then I drop mums on her doorstep and we chat for a while (me halfway down her path) whatever the weather but after that it’s nice to relax and get our Saturday night take away

Could you not do your shopping online then just go visit your mum without the hassle of shopping too ?

Weekends are much the same as all other days to me. Yet, irrationally I suppose, I still look forward to them. Not sure why. Maybe because it’s another week successfully negotiated.

Of course, it helps now it’s 6N rugby time. Though not after today, right enough.

I thought of that but I’m mostly an Aldi shopper and they don’t do online, it’s not a big complaint just half my day is away by the time I get home Not as if I have much else to do and at least I’m getting out

Yes I think we still have it in our heads that no matter we can do its still the end of the week and think we should still make the most of our weekends

I lost the, weekend feeling, years ago when i started working most of them.

A rare weekend off is always planned out a long time in advance, takes the shine off but, bills need paying. It is what it is.

For me the weekend is the trip outside, the time to visit the shops and visit my folks

My folks are in my bubble and I live alone so its an hour of making sure they are ok and showing them im still alive (neighbours havent called police again worried about me)

Other than that the weekend is eat something not so healthy and have a beverage

Just me myself and i

100% I see the weekend as the days I can switch off from work, relax, unwind, go for walks, the only issue is they’re over before you know it.

Totally agree with the post above. I've been surprised at how quickly the weekends still go by. I'm one of the lucky ones still working and with a normalish routines. Not so easy when the week merges into the weekend with no change.

Train packed, Pub was mobbed, then restaurant took ages to get served, stood for ages to get into club, to be 3 deep at bar..... it was just a dream sadly.

I have worked all during pandemic so definitely see the weekend as a time to chill. Just a bit different now, chill at weekend was quite often doing something with my son (cinema, shopping, eating out) now it’s long walks and pamper days at home

moved to cuckold land

At weekends I roleplay with my wife of her meeting her boyfriend which she has really so got into and now seems like a completely different sexual woman with her "bf Freddie" (she named him)

I so look forward to weekends now & so hope can convince her to consider taking this to reality once this pandemic over

I do look forward to the weekend. It's my two days of doing nothing as during the week I do the housework and my online courses as well so Saturday and Saturday is my time to switch off and relax x

It's good to have the days off work.

It was rare I would go for nights out before covid so I'm lucky in that I don't have that aspect to miss as much as other people do.

For me, it depends on my husband's shifts. So, for example, he's off this weekend and therefore I'm looking forward to it. But, when he's working, it's just a normal day, because the kids aren't at school anyway, and hubby is sleeping the day away because he's nightshift xx
