I'm up a hill too and there's one grit bin but no one ever uses it and we don't get the gritters either. Looks treacherous as I've seen cars sliding about the place and trying to get up the hill x

Just don't ober rev. Try using second gear in comparison to first. Go gentle but not enough to stall . You'll be ok

A fresh covering of snow here in Salford but it'll be gone in a few hours no doubt. Well about a centimetre has fallen, if that counts!

You can count on probably 2 hands the decent (a few inches or more) snowfall we've had round here in my lifetime and most of that was when I was a kid.

Even the "Beast from the East" pretty much missed us completely!
