Im heading to Aviemore this weekend, unfortunately for work but i do have the evenings and late afternoons to myself.

Can anyone recommend anywhere to go at night or things to do.

Im going to be there from Friday afternoon till Monday morning

I dont think there is much of interest in Aviemore... its not that big will only take you an jour to visit everywhere lol! x

Unfortunately thats what I thought.. middle of nowhere.

Ive been to Inverness a few times but as ill be having a few drinks during the day on sat it will be a nightmare getting anywhere other than Aviemore

I know there will be a pub or 2 but anything else?

I think there may be a club... Although its been a few years since i was out that way for a night out. I think some places have live music at the weekends too...

Cafe Mambo is worth a visit if your in Aviemore, don't think you'll be spoiled for choice for late night drinking though, unless it's changed since the last time I was there

I worked in aviemore many years ago . When you had crofters the anglers rest @ henrys bar it was great till it changed . There's a club near cafe mambo now .

As the others folks said there's not that much happening in Aviemore , an evening trip to Inverness or Elgin would be your best bet...

There's a few bars usually good craic get yourself mixing wi the locals a d the tourists ya never know where ya end up

Yes the locals know how to party . Worked there for a year and got to know quite a few good times and great parties
