Over there

I'm avoiding work by booking next summer holidays. I'm heading to Cairngorms at Easter, Hebrides and West coast in summer.

By heck accommodation is both expensive and rather booked already... Even one of the Hebrides ferries seems fully booked to vehicles already, in June FFS!

So- what are your plans this year?

Anyone else noticing how busy things are already?

And does anyone want to join me cycling the outer Hebrides?

I think the new strain is just like the beginning all over again.

Another year of lock downs and nothing happening.

Pal who works for an airline said July and that was before this new strain.

Cant see anything happening hol wise till 2022 imo.

Get a campervan hired and enjoy britain. Theres a lot to be said for place... except the lack of sunbathing and cheap booze if thats your thing

Being based in the Hebrides the ferries are not ideal. Even without this thing getting on the ferry in summer is always troublesome

Nothing booked.

As for ferries, I imagine they are running at social distanced levels meaning no sardines

Nothing booked as yet, I usually would have, but with the whole tiers thing and no travelling in higher tiers. I'll just wait till were in tier 2 and try book something then.

I'm waiting to see how the Covid restrictions develop. How I miss a holiday.

Now that sounds fun and hard work. Some serious distance!
