"It’s going to be quite a different time of year for almost everyone family's missing being together , more folk alone than usual . I hope everyone has the best time they can then spare a thought for those who have to work taking care of others be it doctors , nurses , carers , fire service or police who are on shift I hope it’s quieter for them . "The shops are empty and moods are flat. Weather is bloody awful too. Certainly not the December i want to repeat." I think people are doing the sensible thing and staying home ! A lot that are planning time with family are now limiting time going out to shops & the like so as not to jeopardise any chances they have of a family Christmas | |||

"Working until 6 on Christmas Eve then it's a few days of doing nothing and enjoying the fact that my family and close friends are all doing the same. We're all still here n that's more important than what we can or cannot do. All stocked up on food and drink what more could I want
