Hi I’m to shy sometimes and like to take a conversation slowly but what’s the best way to start talking to someone is it direct and to the point or trying to get to know a little bit about someone first

Depends on the situation.

If its a sensitive subject slow and easy, if its a bollocking hard and to the point.

If its for swinging slow and get to know .simple stuff really

Just be yourself, that comes out in the end anyway

Congratulations you have just discovered the answer to your question. You have now started a few conversations .. maintaining the conversation is different . Be yourself engage in normal conversation be polite and respectful. don’t be pushy or send loads of messages because someone has not replied . They might be busy .
