... had a bearing on you choosing this lifestyle?

While we were out with another couple in the pub last night the conversation came round to our lifestyle choice. Although they are not swingers they know we do.

We came to the conclusion that both myself and the hubby, being brought up in the sixties/seventies by parents who were hippies had a lot to do with the the way we think about sex.

There was never any hang ups about nudity, sex was not regarded as an act of love, more a fun activity much the same way as dancing with someone else.

My parents never hid the fact that they enjoyed this sort of lifestyle I think has instilled this on me.

It could also be a reaction from living in a sexually prudent environment

SjA= grew up on a commune in the Netherlands

Bebe= Grew up in mormonville USA

Yet we both got here just different paths

I don’t think there’s a simple yes or no to this. Some could say they were brought up to be open minded so yes it’s influenced them. Some might say they rebelled against a restrictive upbringing. Nature and nurture combined have different effects on each of us but an interesting question

I'd say not a factor in and of itself there are so many variables and factors some children of hippies will now be ultra Conservative I'd say charecter makeup has a lot more to do with outlooks than other influences

I think it has greatly influenced me but I suppose everyone is different.
