So everyone who bought their hot tubs for the amazing weather in lockdown, who is still using it on a regular basis?

Was keen to get one once finished the garden but not sure how quick the novelty would fade

I have one but find it gets so hot in it that I cant stay in the tub for as long as I can without it lol

I'm actually thinking of having a Wooden pagoda built over the tub for that purpose

Thought it would have been a waste of money but I got talked into it. Set it up and used it almost every day before work took me away. Loved it. Now put into hibernation for the winter but will definitely be building it into a permanent feature next year with some sort of structure around it to use all year round.

Does it cost a lot to run?

The key is to fill it with hot water btw especially if you have a gas combi as it’s cheaper to run the boiler than the heater ! Once it’s up to temp though maintain it around 36 and turn it up a cpl hours before you want to use it to 40

Not sure yet , set price for electricity so will need to wait a few months to see a change. Google would be your best bet but for a few quid a week extra its worth it.

Have had a summer house installed this year so perhaps this would be a good addition. Think I might need curtains up on the windows though in case they don’t steam up!
