Durham

Sad day, as well as being a great Bond he seemed to get better with age and had loads of excellent roles in the 80s and 90s. RIP

Sad news, he was a very handsome man and a great actor. Played a fantastic role in The Untouchables, think that has to be my favourite film of his. R.I.P

Terrible news, what a great actor. 90 is a good age though.

Some very dodgy comments over the years regarding violence towards women. But the best Bond and a good actor none the less.

He’ll be sadly missed I’m sure , Bond was only one side of his talents may he rest in peace with his vodka martini shaken not stirred .

It's a shame - but 90's a good innings.

He made Bond truly come to life in cinema and had a long and successful acting career beyond it - by playing Sean Connery, accent intact, in every film.

No mean feat. RIP

It’s amazing how much adulation there is being fawned over a wife beater.

Had this sent to me today ...

31/10/20

3+1+1+0+2+0 = 007

If you’re picky (I can be ) the double zero isn’t there but it’s a nice synchronicity. Seven is a number that has always had meaning for me

Couple of good Connery related jokes going around, thought this was apt for the forum

Sean Connery walks into a bar and takes a seat next to a very attractive woman. He gives her a quick glance, and then casually looks at his watch for a moment. The woman notices this and asks, "Is your date running late?"

"No," he replies, "Q has just given me this state-of-the-art watch. I was just testing it."

The intrigued woman says, "A state-of-the-art watch? What's so special about it?"

Bond explains, "It uses alpha waves to talk to me telepathically."

The lady says, "What's it telling you now?"

"Well, it says you're not wearing any panties."

The woman giggles and replies, "Well it must be broken because I'm wearing panties!"

Bond smirks, taps his watch and says, "Bloody thing's an hour fast."

Legend. RIP

"It’s amazing how much adulation there is being fawned over a wife beater."

Couldnt agree more, apparently the quote was it was ok slap a woman but not punch them.

If true its a sad mans quote.
