Has anyone done it?

I was going to get a train up and hire a car. 5 days minim recommend to do it but a week would be good.

If the virus situation was ok, and not breaking any rules/laws, would a smaller car be better for thw roads? I would do it in the summer.

It's beautiful.

It's also a victim of its own success, with crowded roads and all sorts of issues.

There's a lot of Scotland (even just a couple of miles of 6 that route) that's just as beautiful, without the crowds, and where you'll get a fabulous welcome.

If you must, do it. But in my view there are other options.

It’s amazing. So good that we’ve done all or the majority of it three times now. As mentioned, take time to have some detours and it’ll be even better!

Had a great time going round with work colleagues a few years back. Like others say, do detours. Plenty of great stops along the way (if the weather is nice), but lots of good driving roads off the main route. I’d imagine it’s much quieter just now, but be prepared to drive slow or overtake a lot!

I did apply for the civil nuclear constabulary at the power station there. The turnover is high, presumably its not easy finding somewhere to rent /buy?

Did training withe army in cape wrath. Helicopter in/out. Always wanted to go back
