how important is the social side of swinging and the creation of long term friendships added with occasional sexual meets important to you...

or is the wham bam types of meets the primary reason yu on here...

both very, very valid reasons for membership.. and no critism.

for me ... it is friendship being the primary reason, good banter and laughs added to sexual meets a very pleasant bonus..

because I dont message asking for meets I have never experienced the volumes of timwasters often referenced.

if anything, I think the hardened swingers shouting 'meet,meet,meet !!!!' may do as much damage to the site as the timewasters, pest single guys and fakes.

I believe many people use the chat rooms and forums as adult interaction between child minding, caring for others, periods of ill health as well as looking for fun.

right discuss please... and keep it nice and friendly lol

We love meeting ppl for a drink even if it doesnt go any further at least all of the social meets we have had have turned into good nights.

Although we did have a close one in Stirling a cpl of wks ago but thats another story (sorry to the folk that were there we were not being ignorant honest)

Vital. Sex is great but it isn't the be all and end all. This place (and the place whose name we don't mention) has been great in helping find extra friends -some of who have gone on to be playmates - but treating this place solely as a means of getting extra nookie* seems......well......... a wee bit sad.

I c Fab as a social network for meeting new and like minded ppl some ul meet and never meet again some ul meeet and possibly swing with and some u meet a love to bits but know theres no sexual chemesty there and be the best friends anyone could ever meet .....

I always do my meets with a very open mind of what they r gonna be like that way no one gets hurtif thing dont go as u like them to .....

Garry ive always considered u a gd friend from here and u always have the best way of putting things in the right context thats makes even the stupidest of ppl understand what this site should be all about xxxx

I'm sure people join this site for a variety of reasons, but at the end of the day it is a swingers site.

When doing my searches I come across a lot of people (not literally) who say they are just here for the chat. Thats fine but in my area there aren't that many people on the site as it is so it does get frustrating then when someone just wants to chat and isn't meeting.

I do like to get to know someone first before playing, but I signed up for adult fun. Not one night stands or to see how many ppl I can sleep with though, but to find ppl to play with regularly. Its getting very difficult when some use it as a social network site.

Each to their own I guess.

hiya all i agree with what view says ,Yes it is a swingin site but the social aspect is also very good. No one should join thinking this is just a chat shop.READ THE ADVERTISEMENT .But sayin that ive had the best of both worlds and also met a lovely guy who i see regularly his name s varosi and make that clear .

To be honest, once I (Mrs) get to know someone too much I don't want to play with them at all.

By too much I mean in chat room etc as that is where I speak most to people.

When we first started playing out our fantasy we thought we wanted total strangers and probably one off meets. That has changed as we went along as we have found people we like having repeated meets with BUT we don't socialise any other time.

The only time we speak to each other is to send a text or mail asking if either wants a meet, if we say yes, we meet up, have fun, have a few laughs and go our seperate ways again until the next time.

So I suppose we are still the same, as we like "nearly" strangers who turn up when it suits us all

we love the social side of this site...we come from a very small village where the size of your house and what clothes u wear are more important to your "so called" friends than we are...it has been fab to meet ppl who prefer you turn up for social events rather than critise you for your choice of clothes/shoes etc and have made some genuine friends for life on here. thanks to u all xxxx

hi yes do feel social side is important to us and have meet good friends also and some we dont swing with as friends as we just did not click that way but thats not a problem as we all happy with that. there is also a problem if u want to shag first meet i.e drop them and do it in the street or behind a wheelie bin i dont think so nice to make plans after the first meet we think not every 1 is the same happy swinging.

interesting question View and I tend to agree with you, Jacs and one or two others too.

I love the sex side obviously lol its part reason why i joined...but also for the friendship side. Friends with similar interests are difficult to find in this context as you wonder how many actually want to be friends and how many just wana fuck and go so to speak lol

I am only now branching into the social side of this website in terms of the Social meets and things like the forum and chat room but loving it

so i guess yeh im on here for sex but also for the friendship and social side of things too.....why not...there are some great ppl on here xxx

Well, at the moment the social side of this site is very important to me.

Being in another country makes it very difficult to meet the people that we want to meet but as long as we can keep in touch with our friends and future potential meets then its all good

Use the site as you see fit, no one is right or wrong imo. Use it, enjoy it and see how you go

i first joined this site for sex and lots of it. have since made some great friends some of whom i play with some i don't

there have been times when "real " life has interfered with the play side but have still come on for the chat and al be it the distraction and support of those friends

like jands says the site is what you make it - so please could we all just get along , respect others for their decisions and opinions and get back to the having fun !!!!!!!!!!

i see this site as a bit for like minded people to develop friendships i know im a weirdo lol!! i dont like hit and run at all but thats my own choice and opinion!!iv met some lovely single guys from here whom i count as friends but also friends with priveleges and also chatted with some great females with no sexual intentions ! i feel i get out what i put in and like every other area of life of course there will b people u dont like or agree with or want to stand on their throat but u can b adult about it and choose to ignore them x

For us the friendships are more important. Good friends are hard to come by and if those friends come with extras even better. For us the sexual side is an added bouns, we have to have other things in common, like respect for each others views and boundries.

Yes we are here to find cpls to play with but not into one nighters. Each to thier own.

when i first went onto another site it was about friendship and chat, then i discovered swinging - and i love it! Love the very thought of it and have made some very good friends along the way.

I have met for wham bam thank you mams - and these people i wont meet again as they tend to be one offs

I have also met people (couples and single males) who i have had numerous encounters with and tbh it gets better each time as there is just that little bit more adventure each time. as they get to know me i reveal more about what i like.

I enjoy a good night out too which is also a bonus and being a single parent its hard to get childcare etc as most of you well know.

However there is a down side to this.

Vanilla life comes to the front - how do you make both the swing world and vanilla world co-exist? I have just come across this and tbh its a bitter pill to swallow considering the consequences of whats happened. I have lost 2 good friends over this and a male friend. but what can i do? Absolutely nothing, except move on.
