"What's your thoughts on Tunnocks Teacakes? Are they cakes like the name suggests or biscuits? "
A cake to me is soft like a sponge ie a jaffa cake is as the name suggests as its a sponge base where a teacake is semi soft so could be a biscuit or a cake lol

Don't think that helps

Not a fan I’d rather have cheese and crackers but I’d say it’s a biscuit and so is a Jaffa cake

Ok, looks like we have decided it's a biscuit, but how do you eat it?

I usually bite straight through the middle, and end up with sticky lips

Split the bottom off and eat it first. Pop the cream and chocolate top whole. Job done

I'm glad people agree with me! It is defo a biscuit. But I'd say not a dunkable.

I eat the chocolate shell off first in nibbles then lick off the marshmallow then eat the biscuit base. Much less mess! Those that eat the base first does the chocolate shell not melt when you eat it that way?

A jaffa cake is a biscuit unless it's a jaffa cake bar, then it's a cake

Teacake is also a biscuit

It feels too voluminous to be a biscuit, too dimensional. Biscuits tend to be more flat and, ach not sure really...cake, but not a cake, like a fish cake

They are biscuits with the added advantage of a white comelike substance.

Some folk say that biscuits are biscuits if they can be dunked.
