Sooo long and short of it here been dating a while. Bit nothing too Full On made a new profile stating looking fo Some thing different however is telling people out with fab that u want a swinging relationship or. More so. The female half to meet other guys too full on as in there's being honest but can or should I be that honest from the start

Some of that made no sense BUT for me truth is always preferable. However it should always be done with tact diplomacy and listening twice as much as you talk (that’s why you have two ears and one mouth) Is that easy.... is it feck!!! Good luck OP

Everyone deserves honesty.

Speak with her about it and if she decides its not for her then its upto her to carry on the relationship knowing you are here or for her to put an end to things if its not for her

Honesty is good always but be careful. It’s not a full on relationship so You need to know we’re your going with it first. If you both get on and feel there is a positive connection then I’d tell her then. If it’s not for her then you need to be honest to yourself. Trust me it’s not easy to give this up .. lol

This For me when I was considering getting into a relationship I knew I wanted this to be part of my life. That means for me it would need to be part of my partners life. Others can be in a relationship where their partner has no knowledge of this. That is not the type of relationship I want. It meant that people I could have a relationship with based on other factors decided they couldn't do this. I have to respect that and walk away. It is all about what type of relationship you want. One where I am being true to myself and my partner works for me. It means neither of us compromising part of ourselves for another. That is the sort of relationship I want. And to get that meant I was always very upfront and straight with what my lifestyle is and why xxx

Agreed. It’s a lifestyle choice .. you can have a very good sexual relationship with a partner or wife . Moving into the realms of a sexual lifestyle is completely different .

As already been said, honesty is best policy. When on dating sites I usually open up quite quickly about my submissive nature to prevent wasting anyones time. Some get it, some really don't.

I've come to the conclusion it might be easier to find what I'm after on here or other similar sites rather than tinder etc. But realistically I'll be a crazy old spinster lady instead

FYI

I’m in a relationship and he knows I’m on fab I’m always honest about this site, where the difficulty lies is him believing me when I say although I’m on fab I’m very much a monogamous individual, when I am single I enjoy having the option to mingle and have more than one fwb without judgement but if I meet someone I click with and would consider a relationship with, well then I’m 100% committed. What I’ve found is mostly guys think I don’t mean what I say and that they can push the boundaries and encourage the relationship into a swinging one, or they struggle with trust issues. It’s hard finding a balance wherever you sit on the fence but I’ve got far too many good friends on the site and I enjoy the banter to leave and don’t see why I should when I’m being honest xx buuut I’d much rather failing a the relationship than hiding or lying and pretending to be someone I’m not. That not only hurts the other person but has a serious impact on me as well
