From an outsiders point of view and focusing on the quality of football this is a lower half championship derby match surely?

Not anticipating many arrests, fights or stabbings today. Can only be a good thing. Now all we need to do is slowly breed out the bigotry many still have with the knuckle dragger brigade. Good luck to both teams.

Exactly! Derby and Nottingham Forest could easily get to the last 16 of the Europa League if they put their mind to it.

Hardly slept a wink last night as our bus was leaving early. We’ve not long just crossed the border approaching Lancaster and should be arriving into Manchester in just over an hour or so

Another grown man travelling miles to watch a football match, so he can have a drink ...which if he paid £10 could watch it on his own tv ....

Obviously those that are travelling or thinking about it have no regard for other peoples safety regarding the virus, as long as they can have a drink and watch football.

Police should stop them at the border, charge them and send them home

Not at the ground but sadly some partners may face abuse at home through added frustration of them not getting out to watch match or at home drinking to much .

Stay safe everyone it’s just another new normal day .

Take away the religion and politics aspect of these games then it’d be another Aston Villa v Birmingham City.

Let’s face it the football on show in these games is more often than not abysmal.

I see the goon brigade have been making back and fronts of themselves again defacing places in Glasgow and one of them got his comeuppance when he fell off a statue. At least it’s in relation to their own team this week and not some conflict in the Middle East.

ANY, REPEAT, ANY FORM OF ABUSE, IS HORRENDOUS and any that relates to children is vile and sickening.

However you cant then be selective on what abuse you think is out of order and then totally ignore the comment made relating to wife beating.

By ignoring that issue your effectively condoning that.

Hypocritical I say....

The comment was aimed at the individuals. Fact is that on old firm days, or any big football game day, the final score is dependant on whether the abuser abuses. Domestic abuse goes through the roof on these days... so much so it’s not unheard of for the police to approach the prolific offenders. No disrespect intended...

Awesome game and a master class by Stevie G..... Celtic didn’t turn up, they we’re posted missing, was a shocking display. If they play like that the rest of the season it will be Aberdeen who will pose the biggest threat to Rangers. Couldn’t believe Celtic were knocking the ball about at the back like they were 3 up! The soccer gods don’t want to see 10 that’s for sure!!! WATP hail hail!!!!
