"I started to notice, im getting by now on 5/6, hrs, never would have believed it possible in the past. "

It’s an age thing your body doesn’t do so many repairs on the night shift the older you get . Wait till you get older going to the toilet and all the other delights of old bones .

Working shifts for over 30yrs I’m lucky if I can string more than 4 hours continuous.

I’ve noticed since furlough I’m clocking a good 7 hours

Usually between 7-8 hours but being a mum have survived on a lot less. Nearly always awake by 7 regardless of what time I go to sleep so never need to set an alarm

Get - 6 hours

Need - more

I'm really good in bed, though - Out like a light switch, and never wake unless an alarm goes off.

I'm a rubbish sleeper.

Sometimes if I'm lucky I'll get 3 or 4 hours unbroken. Other times I'll see every hour.

I'm always tired but I get by x

Usually 8-9 hours a night. Vast majority of the time it's unbroken sleep too.

I've got worse as I've got older.

15 years ago I could work on 3-4 hours a night, now if I get less than 6, I'm grumpy.

6 is by far the bare minimum. Only time I tend to sleep longer is if I've had a night-time hypo.

Glasgow.

Used to get by on 5/6 hours split sleep (awake 3 times during that)

Now I need at least a straight 6/7 to avoid grumpiness

I've noticed that my body clock seems to be set at less than 24 hours. Need to get to bed earlier each night but wake up earlier. Then a reset or I'd be asleep five minutes after starting work.

Lots!!! Probably 7- 10 hours

Sleeping is my hobby. I use to take a two - three hour nap after school up until I was 18.

One of my boundaries is around sleep. You wake me up, you will be sorely disappointed.

3-4 hours at most

Then every 10 days or so sleep for around 12 hours straight

Not ideal but can't seem to shake the pattern

I'm usually in bed for 1:30/2am then first alarm goes off at 7:30am (don't fully wake till 8:30am) then out the door for 9am.

So roughly 5.5 hours .

I suffered insomnia most of my life and would manage on maybe 2/3 hours up until about 6/7 years ago and now I can sleep for days even weeks only getting out bed to pee sometimes don’t pee for days or eat or anything

I’d love to be able to go back to a few hours a night so many things you can do with a day when you’re up early and bed late

Have never slept well. Spent some time hooked up to lots of machines and apparently I get about 2 hours good sleep a night and around 2-3 hours of broken sleep. I seem to function ok, but I do think that, long term, it will have an impact on my health
