The brass neck of this woman makes me want to throw up. I Cannot believe she has not fallen on her sword yet. Big mouth flapping, finger pointing and then she actively and knowingly puts peoples lives in danger on more than two occasions. She is a danger to the public and now in full head in the sand hiding mode. What a Total hypocrite.

I guess the difference was is that he was not tested and then subsequently told he was positive and still parade around other people using public transport. Also she was one that said he should resign.

Don't get me wrong I'm no fan of his either but she was not wise at all.

If anyone who’s been in close contact with her falls ill with Covid could she face an assault charge? Or in worst case scenarios someone passes away would it be fair to say she’d be guilty of manslaughter?

And before the apologists jump on their tartan wagon that above should if not already be a punishment for everyone who knowingly breaks protocol while waiting for test results let alone having already received a positive result.

She 100% has to publish which trains she travelled on. She's a disease spreader and has absolutely no moral compass or right to remain in a public representative role. However i feel she won't publish just in case a mass breakout is then reported for your reason stated. #Justgonowferrier

She is human and made a mistake. But do you think she shouldn't have any kind of judgement when knowingly risking people's lives? Would you say the same to someone who was speeding in a car and caused an accident? I'm pretty sure they would be charged.. Can O ask what the difference is?

The only mistake she made is thinking she was above the rules.

She could possibly try and defend travelling while waiting on the results as she felt better but to travel, particularly on public transport, after testing positive is inexcusable!! Nobody needs advice for that and someone in her position is well aware of the rules so she basically thinks she is above the rules

Agree shes a MP for an area that Covid is increasing steadily again and if she can't see what she did was wrong and how her moving about potentially contributed to this increase when she shouldn't have but going to church, London back home was due to Covid amnesia is that a new symptom !!

I think it's all about her keeping her 80k a year.

Picking up blue milk instead of green milk is a mistake. Putting unleaded into a diesel is a mistake. Maybe even parking on a double yellow line thinking it was a single is a mistake.

Commuting the length of the country, twice, going to the gym, salon and church while having had symptoms and waiting on results of your test for a deadly virus which subsequently returned a positive result is attempted manslaughter.

She is gaining around £85000 a year plus all expenses paid.

That's the real reason she won't resign.

She had the SNP whip removed (bet Blackford enjoyed that!) but is still a card carrying member of the SNP. There are procedures to do before she can be flung out of her party while still managing to trouser £7,000 a month in salary as she can continue to sit as an independent MP until she gets thrown out.

What she did defies description and with virus rates escalating she showed poor judgement for someone who has power over our lives.

So, she had a tickly cough and got tested. Then she felt better so hopped on the train to London. But now she says she acted out of character because she was unwell with covid. Anyone can use that as a defence for a multitude of sins

She reckons because she's sorry that makes her "lapse of judgement" less serious than Dominic Cummings. I was disgusted at his actions but at least he didn't travel on public transport knowing he had covid.

The only mistake she made is thinking she was above the rules.

MPs are elected to take important decisions on behalf of their voters - that implies they need good judgement - her excuse of panicking and having no-where to stay in London is ridiculous, she could easily have holed up in a hotel on her salary and been considerably better off than students stuck in halls of residence.

What a ridiculous take. No medical expert has ever said this was a symptom or result of covid.

Unfortunately, we are now blinded by political loyalties in the UK in general, but particularly Scotland. Its on all sides, so not singling out SNP, indy supporters.

However, given the latest polling figures (which seem to have appeared at a very convenient time for Sturgeon and the SNP) it appears that there is a large section of the population who would vote for the SNP regardless of what their representatives did. Again, I'm well aware thats the case with all parties, but we saw at the last GE that a lot of people abandoned Labour in England because of their stance (or lack of it) on key issues.

But Ferrier should have resigned for her actions. There is no doubt about that in my mind. Unfortunately, there isn't the legislation to remove her. The civil war in the SNP over the Salmond case makes me think that she is on the Salmond side, and her prolonged stay in the position is a deliberate tactic to undermine the current leader of the party. What it also does though, is undermine the public message.

She won't be the only one flaunting the rules at all !!!!!! Most people should look in before commenting on others actions. Most have done something they shouldn't have. I'm not saying she acted honourablely at all. But people who have committed proper bad crimes get let off.
