I'm looking for incite ladies of the site. I know you all recieve massive amounts of attention and it is very difficult to continue or keep track of all conversations, but how many times should a man message or at what intervals?

Once. If you get a reply brilliant if not move on.

Sometimes its easier to strike up a conversation through the forums, then you can move onto private messaging.

Once. If people repeat message me then I block them.

Have some self respect and realise that no reply means no thanks.

I think you're quite right and the forum is probably a more fruitful way to go. I've found it's fairly hit and miss with conversations through messages on here.

Shangri-la

Once & if they don't reply then take it as they aren't interested. I used to always reply, even just to say no thanks, but that often resulted in more messages asking why not, or abusive messages, so now I tend not to bother.

I've had several who message multiple times & to be honest it comes across as needy/desperate which really isn't attractive. There are also the serial copy & paste ones who use the scattergun approach & fire out the exact same message to every female in their area on a regular basis regardless of whether they have messaged & been turned down in the past.

What gets me is the messages that are read, but then nothing done with them. Neither deleted or answered.

Do they get a massive ego boost from having their inboxes overflowing with messages?

I think you have to be sensible in your approach to messages.

Message once. Make an effort.

If no response or unread leave it be for a few months.

Then perhaps message again.

If nothing comes from it the second time, BLOCK so you do not repeat message again.

You have understand that the ladies of the site might read a messages or possibly skim read and choose to respond later. They perhaps forgot or loose the message in amongst the rest.

So I do not think it is bad to re message. Just be sensible about it.

I've had mixed responses on whether to one and done or re message.

I've always just sent one and figured there was no interest, however after being enlightend as to just how many mails some women recieve I can better appreciate the reason. And as has been mentioned above with regards to guys then bombarding them with more mesaages.

Think I'm gonna use best judgement and maybe send a second message or so over time using best judgement and try to be more social on the forum itself. Seems like a more successful way to interact.

Cheers boys and girls for your input.

Totally agree, although i did dare send a fun response to someone i had messaged and got a reply from previously. Was'nt asking for anything, just responding to a funny update they had put up.

Now cant do that, i will never understand folks inviting responses, then acting miffed by responses,,,maybe never saw the funny side.
