Glasgow city centre and the cones

I am offering my services to personally hammer the 6” nails I have recently purchased from B & Q this very afternoon through the gonads of the utter fuckwit who thought of putting the cones at the beginning of St Vincent st. Meaning 1000 cars filter into one lane.

With George sq being the filter of the trap in that area with virtually no escape and a maze of one wat streets - they even thoughtfully blocked off the wee lane to return you to george sq, meaning to return to the merchant city means going to Stirling and back.

A woman would not put cones in such a strategic place.

If Glasgow district council want to kill any business around that area, they are being very successful!

If the person ( Bawbag) responsible would kindly make himself available so I can nail his gonads to the floor.

In the meantime I’m off to listen to some whale song and munch some Valium.

Council thought it was a great idea to create all these cycle lanes.

In their infinite wisdom GCC simply don’t want people accessing the city centre in vehicles it would appear Every available access point into the City centre has been tinkered with to make it difficult for motorists. In doing so they’ll make millions of pounds distributing fines to folk falling foul of the bus gates they have implemented unfortunately

Just a background character

You're not stuck in traffic - you are traffic.

Improved bus lanes and services and better cycle lanes needs to be the future the Glasgow city centre. The streets are too congested and among the most polluted in the UK.

Central Glasgow is now essentially a no-go zone for motorists. We are already refusing to send vans into the central area unless clients agree to a surcharge, entirely due to the congestion and delays caused by these new 'improvements'. We've had to charge at least one client double labour as there's simply no way we can get a van near enough for a single engineer to unload in a timely manner.

Quickest way I've ever seen to kill an already struggling city center economy!

Edinburgh the same plus the tram works as well venturing into Glasgow later on today and a few runs this week showing the kiddo how to navigate the city as he’s moving out (cries silently into pillow)
