So with the big notice on the homepage of no physical meets just now does that include a socially distanced social meet ? I mean you can go stand in a pub with strangers aswell just now

I’d suggest what two people decide outwith the site once initial contact has been made is up to them. Personally I feel new contacts of any kind is off the cards till further notice. Really not worth it in my opinion.

Central Borders

Pretty sure fab's "allowing" people to meet socially distanced now. Although you can't put a meet request on.

I’m not against social meets but I still can’t get my head around all the desperate ppl on here that have been meeting for fun!

Crazy and sad imo

I've had a social distance coffee meet, masks and all. I don't see that being any different from going to a pub, for a meal or even the local supermarket tbh. We say outside at St Enoch and people watched and chatted.

I wouldn't personally be meeting anyone new for fun and frolics tho. But it's each to their own x

I think there may be some who are that but I also think that there may be some people who have been isolated, lonely and craving some contact. It's a shame they get such a hard time for it.

No one knows anyone else's circumstances and I'm sick of hearing all the condemnation that gets banded about everywhere.

People have to make their own decisions based on their own circumstances

As a single guy, I've pretty much been living in total isolation since March, with some days forgetting what my voice sounds like! The best I've had was chatting to my neighbor over the fence.

Social meets are within permissable, just be sensible and safe

The site made the rules to compliment and support the governments stance on distancing and reducing the spread.

As individuals we follow the government rules as best we can. Every day I see members looking for meets . What ever you decide to do .. stay safe and do the right thing for you , your family, your friends and Your local community..
