Making up dance routines on my roller skates.

Crushes who never ever fancied me. Think I was the only one of my friends to not go out with anyone at school.

Being bullied for many years.

My dad going to the shops. Rab was so funny.

Actually being known as Big Rabs daughter.

Taping the charts.

Playing trophie. I was really good at handstands and cartwheels.

My grans house for lunch or cakes every day. She was the most amazing woman.

Dogging school for 2 weeks straight every year to enter into the Gunston 500 world surfing competition 4 years in a row Durban North Beach and dated Kelly slater for those 2 weeks aged 15 . Some Of the Best memories being a teen especially placing in 4 events and 3rd overall in final surf against over 18s girls in world Pro circuit.

Wouldn't catch me in the sea now as I have fear of sharks. Didn't when I was young but having kids takes the craving for adrenaline away big time.

Absolutely, adults were someone we stopped and listened too, you never spoke back, you wouldn’t have dared, such a shame many kids today have lost that

Nicking my big brother's bike and getting chased round the scheme by him trying to catch me and leather me. Wee feet could barely reach the pedals.

I loved being on my roller skates with my bestie.

Playing doublers against the house wall and skipping ropes were a favourite too, but in a group of more than 4.

I use to love Indiana Jones when I was younger was about 9 or something I remember going to Blackpool and there in a shop I spotted a whip similar to what he used so I spent my pocket money on one

Wasn't till I was older I realised it was most probably a bondage whip and I didn't lose it it got hidden from me

Being told not to touch the dirty needles that were lying everywhere in closes and in the streets

Setting off fire hydrants in the summer and everyone out playing in them

We used to steal the metal fences around building sites and use them to make goals to play football

Not being able to go to any other areas around your neighbourhood as the other gangs would get you. Having to duck down on buses when you passed through areas that you weren’t from when you seen another group hanging about off the bus.

Raleigh grifter for me. Turning down the mudguards to make motorbike sound. Or using a jubilee carton too.

Games...2 man hunt. Kick the can. Kerbie. Ropes. Balls. Chalking out tennis court in front of the flats we grew up. Roller boots and shoes ...the dodgy metal ones the you used own shoes with.

Aberdeenshire

Cycling as fast as I could on the grass outside my house, pulling the front brake, going over the handlebars and the bike flipping over me.

Swinging as high as I could then jumping off and sometimes landing on my feet.

Climbing onto the roof from my bedroom window in my superman outfit.

Bulletproof.

Nowadays I pull muscles getting out of bed.
