I must admit where i live is beautiful so as its full of nature and wildlife and wonderful scenery I love going to the city to admire the old architecture

Applecross, Harris/Lewis (in fact lots of the Hebridean Islands are pretty special), Plockton, Gairloch, Portsoy, Pennan, Catterline, Brora, Ardnamurchan.... There are loads, mostly by the sea.

Think Glencoe is just stunning and majestic no matter what time of year you go up/through (even in the rain!)!

Glen Affric

Glenfinnan (before Harry Potter made it famous!)

Culzean Castle (Ayrshire)

Melrose (the Borders)

Loch Lomond

But even wee places like Loch Ard/Loch Katrina beautiful

Mugdock

I’ve been lucky enough to visit Shetland and Orkney when on Tall Ships so will include them.

Agree with another poster^ who said they sit and think ‘how beautiful Scotland is’ and we’re so lucky to have this scenery. people should try and venture out.

There are many gorgeous beaches in Scotland. Some of my favourites are:

Aberlady Bay

Gullane

Tentsmuir (not to dog or be naked)

St Andrews

Elie.

I love the botanic or princess steet gardens on a sunny day.

I love South Queensferry just to look out at the water and the bridges and zone out from the world.

No one can argue re the splendor of rannoch moor and Glencoe regardless of the direction you travel in..

But one glen I've always been impressed with and feel it's almost as spectacular as Glencoe is glen sheil with the 5 sisters of kintail bordering it to the north...

A house, a very big house in the country

Currently the local private beach that we can cycle to.
