My kids are all grown up but got to admit I loved spending time with them during the holidays & loved not running to a routine .

They are kids for such a short time just enjoy them and the times you spend together

I'm dreading it to be honest. Whilst it has undoubtedly been hard work having them home 24/7, with no break whatsoever, it has also been really lovely to have this time with them.

It will be good to have a bit of time to myself again, but there's also a lot of anxiety and uncertainty about them going back to school.

K

Yes looking forward to getting back to the routine and having time to myself again. But def anxious as he heads back as the virus is still with us. But I do agree we need them back at school. Fun may have to wait for a while yet x

I’m gonna go and sit in a field and enjoy the sound of silence. Might even have a wee cry to myself.

I agree with this sentiment. Not looking forward to running the gauntlet to get them to school or missing an opportunity to go to a beach on a beautiful day. However, we co-parent so have every other week to indulge ourselves. If I was a single parent or had my kids full time, I would be going nuts by now and first in line to drop them off at the school gate

I'm looking forward to getting back to a routine and having some time for myself.

But I'm worried about them and will miss being with them.

London, Scotland & The North,

Should all schools staff etc not be tested and given the all clear prior to returning to school and mixing with children?

Children prior to lockdown were seen or catagorised as potentially the biggest spreaders of convid and potentially taking home such?
