My holiday got cancelled 2 weeks ago. If I'm honest I'm a bit relieved about it with all the restrictions in place but I've now given up 2 weeks in Bulgaria for a week at Wemyss Bay

Thats the sore point Bluebelle I'm fortunate to be traveling to a country with no quarantine requirements on return otherwise I wouldnt be going either xx

No they do not. Loads of countries you can travel without a 2wk isolation period on return. Sadly Spain is not one of them at the moment but hoping that changes before i go.

I think she thinks you mean your not going to do the quarentine once you returned but I understood what you ment

I will not be going to Majorca. Unsure if i can change destinations with no additional costs. Time will tell.

I will absolutely be going on abroad on holiday. After working all through the lockdown with only every second weekend off from April till a couple of weeks ago I’ll be making the most of my time off

Staycation? I wouldn’t thank you for one. If the hoteliers, public transport companies and Scottish government want people to remain in Scotland this summer then a serious reduction in the prices hotels, restaurants and public transport charge is needed

A weekend up north in howling piss and gale giving your details just for a pint or for not much more money a week to 10 days away in the sunshine?

then rebooked for Cyprus, then COVID happened

but have rebooked for next year so fingers crossed.

We’d also planned a road trip to visit a couple of English fab clubs but obvs that got scuppered as well.

Reckon we’ll do a staycation as well, maybe Oct and at least we have the Edinburgh social in sept to look forward to

Desperately want to get away anywhere but doesn't look likely. I wouldn't mind so much if the sun came back to us for a little bit so I could just sit and drink gin in my garden

Two holidays cancelled. Week in Portugal in early May, and two weeks up north staycation which was the last two weeks before they allowed staycations again

Portugal rescheduled for mid- September, but not on the air ridge list yet, so fingers crossed

Was supposed to be going to Krakow but have decided I’m not leaving the country this year. Really don’t fancy it right now.... still think it’s too soon, however staycation is a possibility with the campsites reopening. Probably the easiest socially distanced holiday is pitching the tent. As long as I’ve got wine then I’ll be fine.
