When I'm feeling rubbish I quite often go for childhood favourite Disney's - yes I do cry at most of them and yes I know its stupid!

So what's your go to film or music to help lift your spirits and make you feel better when you're down or unwell?

At the risk of sounding like a heavy mad racist given its recent cancellation, I love Gone With The Wind.

Also love Thelma & Louise though I hope for a different ending every time I watch it.

Music wise, probably go with something from, The blue nile, Films, Irma la douce, is an old classic i love, or maybe Big trouble in little China, always cheers me up.

Some good shouts above, Mrs D with you on both Three Little Birds and Gone with the Wind but... Some Like It Hot or the Quiet Man are my faves for comedy. Rammstein take me back - Ich vill!!!

Ages ago heard Mark Kermode (Kermode &Mayo show R5) day that if you want to “re-set” your mood watch a horror move - seemingly its to do with fear & adrenaline supposedly, bit like when you come off a rollercoaster... you always feel great.
