Does anyone know of a female willing to apply make up to a guy to make him look very effeminate / feminine;

willing to give advice and fully change his face to as female as possible

(willing to pay for the treatment)

must be Scotland, ideally fife / Perthshire / Stirling way

You don’t have to wait until it’s over.

All the supermarkets are open, although with a limited range of cosmetics.

Poundland, B and M, Range and Boots etc there all open.

Superdrug.. the make up section is just huge. Lady V and I could spend an absolute fortune in there. And have frequently. Revolution eyeshadow pallets. So many to choose from..

I have always found the ladies at Boots very helpful. They will do a colour match to get the best foundation and have a private room where they will give you help and tips.

Also found that Boots no.7 make up lasts a lot longer. More expensive than other brands but as they say you get what you pay for.

money is not a concern, would rather have and apply the best

Theres also lots of videos on YouTube that talk u through step by step so you can practice. I remember once helping a TV on here with there choice of wigs. We had such a fun day together and I'm far from an expert but just someone telling you what you suit etc without any awkwardness was something they were very thankful for. Have remained good friends.

I am not the best at make up mine is always pretty minimal I’m more a tomboy and not into make up

It would depend on the looks you are after, when it comes to on trend eyes etc I get my teenage daughter to do mine but always happy to help anyone pick up a few basics

I have sensitive skin so have to watch what I buy but Superdrug and boots are generally my go to for make up

My daughter I buy her stuff from PLouise, benefit, phoera and BPerfect she’s only young but loves all the good palettes and bases most of the MuA use and she’s really good

MAC is good but overpriced tbh Bobby brown is ok as well

I like mineral make up. I find it easiest to build up and blend. Brands like No 7 are just too heavy and unforgiving for me.

I have no tips but was always told growing up, eyes or lips but not both. It's advice I've always followed.

If you are not comfortable going in and getting matched at No7 or similar the tip I would give is do not match foundation to the back of your hand! It is a completely different colour to your face so match to jawline! Also try and see in natural light if possible as fluro lights change the colour. L'Oréal used to have an app you could download and use your camera on phone to match colour but not sure if still about or any good.

Also when buying concealer go for a lighter colour rather than matching as when blended in it highlights at the same time as concealing

Once/if mobile therapists are able to work again I'm sure there are plenty who would be able to visit at home and do a makeover. They were forever popping up on my FB feed before Covid.

I did the same many years ago. Hide and Sleek in Fife used to organise makeup consultations.

It covered the basics for me at the time, and I'd adapted over time, like anything practice make perfect.

As a couple of people have mentioned eyes, I can highly recommend a product called "L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Eyeshadow Quad" which I find are great. 4 shades that all work together brill, and a diagram on the back to show you what bit goes where.

But, Don’t buy random Makeup because it may not match/suit your skintone. Best to have an idea of what you want and then go from there
