"

The announcement actually states “without” social distancing required

Quote from BBC:

They will be able to meet people from one other household indoors, with no physical distancing, and can also stay overnight.

Important point being ONE other household, so regular FWB is ok, multiple partners is not

That is still reliant on one household being a single adult.

There is no stipulation what the relationship status is. In my opinion arranging a meet with a new partner from here would be pushing it and potentially risky. But a GF/Established FWB and upwards wouldn’t be against ‘guidance’.

Maybe no for a while due to social distance. I think anyone that meets during this period is irresponsible and reckless and has no value for their own need their family needs and putting people at risk by meeting. FUCK BUDDIES, they are what it say fuck buddies not lovers or partners, they see each other for sex and that is it. On the odd occasion and I say this LIGHTLY, you may find someone to play with but are they keeping to the same person, it about common sense and some folk don’t have this

If it had been about common sense, then there would have been no specific guidance whatsoever.

I’m not advocating multiple partners and nor is the new guidance.

Please bear in mind that I, as someone who lives alone, have abided by all the rules and guidance handed down. I’ve had more contact with the staff in Aldi every two weeks (as per guidance of irregular shopping) than any of my work colleagues, family or any partner.

Whilst I appreciate it has also been difficult for households, I’ve not had the physical contact with any human being since March. No hugs, nothing.

I’m not running out there and arranging a meet but I’m perfectly allowed to do this with ONE other as per guidance. So “irresponsible” is not how I see it.

Just to clarify. I didn’t mention Fuck Buddies and would agree that that would be pushing the guidance. It’s in the name - Friends with Benefits. The friends bit meaning companionship and support. Exactly ONE of the reasons for the household/bubble.

Personally I won’t be exercising this extension anytime soon.

I don't think it's our place to judge. Thankfully, I'm married, so haven't craved the contact of a fuck buddy. And, as it s_ands, my parents or best friend and her kids will be my extended bubble. But, I have fuck buddies who are VERY good friends. I chill out with them, we chat nonsense, we message each other when we're needing a friend to talk to. For people who have no family, and aren't in a longterm relationship, I don't think we should be judging their need for human contact. The problem with a phrase like 'fuck buddies' is that it means different things to different people. If people want to meet their fuck buddy as their extended bubble, why are we making an issue out of this?!

It is my opinion and I have the right to say that, and making a big deal Of the new phase is you can see partners who form a relationship not someone you have sex with now and then. That is the point! and yeah we all crave human contact but at this time no, it a bit risky

- Outdoor sports centers can reopen from Monday 29th June

- Non-essential businesses and retail will be allowed to open from Monday 29th June

- Indoor shopping centers will remain closed until phase 3

- No exact date for Pubs and restaurants on outdoor space but update expected in the next 2 weeks with a hope of opening outdoor spaces by the 2nd July

Regarding dentists....only for emergency treatment, so basically extractions. Nothing else.

When will get insertions

Maybe no for a while due to social distance. I think anyone that meets during this period is irresponsible and reckless and has no value for their own need their family needs and putting people at risk by meeting. FUCK BUDDIES, they are what it say fuck buddies not lovers or partners, they see each other for sex and that is it. On the odd occasion and I say this LIGHTLY, you may find someone to play with but are they keeping to the same person, it about common sense and some folk don’t have this

Stay safe

I don't think it's our place to judge. Thankfully, I'm married, so haven't craved the contact of a fuck buddy. And, as it s_ands, my parents or best friend and her kids will be my extended bubble. But, I have fuck buddies who are VERY good friends. I chill out with them, we chat nonsense, we message each other when we're needing a friend to talk to. For people who have no family, and aren't in a longterm relationship, I don't think we should be judging their need for human contact. The problem with a phrase like 'fuck buddies' is that it means different things to different people. If people want to meet their fuck buddy as their extended bubble, why are we making an issue out of this?!.

It is my opinion and I have the right to say that, and making a big deal Of the new phase is you can see partners who form a relationship not someone you have sex with now and then. That is the point! and yeah we all crave human contact but at this time no, it a bit risky "

Indeed you do have a right to your opinion. The guidance is, however quite clear (though the FM would hardly specify sexual partners) and allows a scenario such as a FWB, fuck buddy or casual partner to meet one other.

There is still the 5 mile rule in place so you aren't meant to go more than 5 miles from your home for anything.

I think that is unenforceable as there would need to be road blocks everywhere.

I do appreciate the need for caution but there has be be a balance between mental health for the many as opposed to potential death to a few mainly elderly people. As for the economy it is on the road to ruin unless more businesses can open soon.

It is, absolutely, your opinion. And I welcome your right to offer it. Just as I'm sure you welcome my right to offer mine. If you watched the First Minister today, she wasn't specific on whether they had to be in a relationship. I doubt, very much, the government would dare to offer such clarity on that particular subject. She said that someone living in a household, alone or with children under 18, can form an extended bubble. She said that this meant they could be indoors, without physical distancing and could stay over, if they wished. She then had a wee chuckle. I think Nicola is probably thinking more along the lines of fuck buddy than people think lol xx

Oh fuck of Bob who really gives a flying fuck about the 5 mile rule. The whole lockdown rules were completely shit anyway. You could stand in a queue for 30 minutes to get into Tesco and chat with the stranger next to you but you couldn’t go to a relatives garden and chat with them. Now we can go clothes shopping, probably not be able to keep the 2 meter social distancing rule and touch clothes that other people have touched but we can go to a beer garden where social distancing is more achievable. Oh and if you want to attend a BLM protest or any protest for that matter it seems that you are immune from the virus. Mass gatherings have been banned but if the government tried to stop a protest they would be classed as racists

Agreed, telling bob to fuck off and calling him a tool is unbecoming of the ideology that the forums are a welcoming and inclusive addition to a users enjoyment.

The lockdown has been a farce in the uk, we both have had to work and the nearest hub school was a 20 mins drive from our house and an hour from our places of work and didn't open until 3 hours after we started work and closed 2 hours before one of us finished and 5 for the other so we have had to send the kids to family members house from the start. Other countries closed everything other than hospitals and food shops and you had to book an appointment to go to the shops and have permission to be there, our lockdown was go out and exercise size once a day, shops open as normal and absolutely no policing of people put and about.

So yes we have put our family at risk from the very start but that is because the lockdown rules left us with no choice.

No government in the UK comes out of this looking very good we should be looking at countries like new Zealand who did everything like and have life back to about 90% normal.

Just my 10p worth, I know you never asked but hey

It's hardly a fair comparison. New Zealand is 10% larger than UK but has about 60million less inhabitants. Viruses need hosts to spread. NZ ain't got them!

No, but the rules should have always allowed for childcare and not been seen as a rule breaker for taking kids to friends and family

Totally agree, I had to close my business but couldn't/can't find alternative work because of no childcare, doesn't look to improve much when schools go back either with only 2 days a week in my area. 16 hrs is not enough & can't get peace to work at home.

That's exactly the point I was trying to get across and at least you actually read what I said. The Chief constable has already said that officers are not going to be checking where people are going to which is just as well as I have covered several hundred miles on my motorbike this week with no one stopping me.

Important point being ONE other household, so regular FWB is ok, multiple partners is not"
