Looking for someone to help with moving into a career in software. A mentor or someone who wants to learn alongside me would be cool. Please DM me if interested. Thanks for reading, have a great day!

Decide on what route your taking web, app or bespoke. That’ll narrow down the language if you don’t have one chosen already. Bear in mind dec ops is the buzz just now so make yourself familiar with the back end running your software.

Any particular back end languages you would suggest? I appreciate your reply, thanks!

Software development is so vast, i think you'd need to be more explicit about platform and purpose.

Besides, there is an abundance of online material to learn coding.

Would it not be easier to do online training rather than to try and find a mentor here?

The issue you will probably find is the people with the experience in the subject don't have the time for tutoring someone.

This and the fact you are a random stranger on a swinger site so folks will will be slightly apprehensive about giving out personal details to assist you.

You should look at code clan, we recently took two of their students on and they are doing really well

As others have said, you need to look at what you want to do...

Web design, then it's Java, Html, CSS etc.

Data analysis, Python and R

Etc.

Again depends on what route you take.
