Is anyone else on hear put off commenting on the forums because there seems to be so much bitchyness and arguing? A really think some people need to get a grip and chill out, surely the forums should feel fun and welcoming? We personally don't post much or reply for that reason. Right now it seems to be getting worse probably because of lockdown, but perhaps if you have nothing nice to say,say nothing!! Just our opinion on how the forums come across. Not here to argue as tbh we would rather make friends and arrange meets ECT.

its easy to spot ones who are looking for a reaction they are best ignored

Some threads do go that way, a wee debate can be healthy but the long drawn out ones can be tedious..

I enjoy the light humoured ones I must admit

I don't understand why folk look for fights. Or folk bitching, at the end of the day we all should be glad we have each other in here

Plus it's times like this when we all realise what we all have is our life and happiness xxx

Yeah, you're right.

It's just like real life though, some folk could start a fight in an empty room and.

There are plenty different types of threads, some fun ones like the Fab bar, some serious threads , some sad RIP threads ,some controversial and some ranting threads, some threads break out into all out war but for them all just follow the Fab forum guidelines, if you don't like the contents of the thread , simply ignore it and move on to another that suits you.

Hope you get more involved stay safe and have fun.

I quite like a bit of drama on the forums. It would be dull if we all agreed with each other.

The soap opera aspect of it can be mildly entertaining I suppose...but it's disappointing to realise it holds back others from posting. Look at the likes of the lounge where a wide variety of characters post all sorts of nonsense. Makes the place a bit more colourful.

Just our opinion that it holds some back, no doubt some do enjoy the arguing aspect. I'm all for a wee debate but imo it seems to get a bit personal.

The Lounge from what I've seen is not much different from the Scottish forums, simply a higher populated platform. All the exact same type of characters grace both Scotland and the lounge forums. Because Scotland is smaller in numbers individuals and their traits stand out way more.

With mention of The Lounge - what’s the difference between that and Swingers Chat? Look to me to be similar content and people posting.

Agree, but also whether it be, sms, WhatsApp or any other form of text, sometimes, text, can sometimes mislead, obviously you cant actually hear the persons voice, so its harder to judge what they really are saying, one reason i like emojis, they can express a feeling to the written text

There is always bitchiness everywhere.

Some like to cause conflict, some try to avoid it.

It's life.

It shows up more online because its easy for some to take a wee power trip or try to bring down others, all while hiding behind a keyboard.

A wee debate is good and hearing different opinions can be enlightening but sometimes it’s the same person wittering on and arguing with everyone that comments.

I have written a response a few times then just deleted it as I can’t be bothered listening to the same person nit-picking at my comment!

I read but definitely don’t post much now.

We will put it down to lockdown frustrations and hope it goes back to being fun with the odd debate

Good for using the old block button though

Used the block loads during this pandemic as we've been invited on so many meets. Instant block.

Life brings enough drama along without poking the bear.

I prefer to have a laugh personally , if something comes up that I want voice my opinion, I will but try not to be argumentative

by the same token kiss fuck avoid and virtual bars stop many from postings to the lounge it's strange that it's not policed in the same manner I've seen lots of contentious posts that wouldn't last 5 mins in scotland forums

What à refreshing change à post where everyone is in agreement thank goodness like you say it becomes ridiculous, whole point of this aboit this site is escaping the tedious of everyday life and enjoy some witty, sexy banter not bang on about the woes of the world, if I wanted that I would watch the news so its Friday smile the weekend has begun, we can stop pretending we have to do stuff and odd jobs and just chill x
