Lady's when a guy puts 'Athletic' on his profile, what does that say to u?...to me it's a guy wi a six pack!(and i dont mean a pack of bud)!!!!

Athletic to me would just mean he had a fit body

In my mind is says fit and toned, in reality it's more likely to mean he gets a workout using the remote to change channels!!!

On the outside world an athletic body would mean toned , trim and in very good shape but in the fab world I've found can mean average to large

I have athletic based on the fact I am in good shape... I don't use gyms... Although being a professional dancer I like to think it is enough...

To be honest we've never seen a guy profile that said fabulous, or indeed the male half of a couple use that one to describe his body type.

Hmmmm, am I fabulous or athletic?

rock climbers are athletic,marathon runners are athletic,ballet dancers are athletic...and they are skinny

Unfortunately people think athletic means muscle bound- big arms ,big chest, big c....

It does seem in general to mean body builder rather than athlete, we've noticed. A bit like curvy tends to mean fat, just sounds better maybe!

I guessed it meant trim and lithe, which is why i put it on my profile. I dont think i have an 'average' body - in fact i dont think anyone does. What the hell is average?

IMO not all athletic people have 6 packs.

I think athletic is somebody whose body shape wouldnt look out of place at a reasonable level of sport.

I am a retired semi pro boxer/martial artist, in my youth I played pro football, ran track and was a club swimmer.

I can still boast my weight has only slighlty increased since I retired from active sport 15 years ago. It had to I was a skinny 10st fighter now a lean mean 12st.
