we are thinking of heading to edinburgh on sunday or monday . whats the best pubs to visit ?

maybe even for a social with others ?

Grassmarket's full of stag-dos.

Whistle-binkies, Brass-monkey (either of them), Joseph Pearce's Sandy Bell, Frankenstein's (if that's your thing), Hector's in Stockbridge, Nobel's in Leith.

That should keep you going

Those are some pretty ordinary pubs, _muma. I'm sure they have pubs like that in Falkirk.

Cloisters and the BrauHouse, both in Tollcross have great beer menus.
