Any thoughts on what our future generations lives will look like 500 years from now.

For me battery powered quad copters will replace the family car. Since there is technology right now for single seat versions might not even take 500 years before we all have one.

Cashless society. Everything paid by your implant chip in your hand.

Fusion drive vehicles with battery cells that last 1000 years.

friction less drive. All vehicles Hoover rather than touch the ground.

Human transporter pods for global travel.

Food Replicators in the home.

(Okay I may have though about this way to much!)

Not at all , all ideas welcome.

We are close to some of your ideas already.

We are slowly becoming cashless, like the chip idea though.

The maglev train is already a frictionless form of transport.

The utopia society from " The time machine", personally not a way I'd want to live.

I'm expecting to still be here in 500 years time, they'll be able to either regenerate my body or implant my brain into a cyborg
