I see alot of "young" guys on here looking for much older women and couples, and they mostly get laughed at. I personally have only ever been with older women and I have no interest in women my age as they just thrive on drama and end up falling in love after one night, lol

My own experience with older women varies, when I was 17 I was quite serious with a 33 year old for nearly a year, the older woman thing is rare, especially 40+ with anyone under 30 I'd say, just curious to why that is, is it shame, or fear of peoples thoughts, is it just not for some people, or is there any other reasons why it's not the reality that porn, fantasy and experience people think it is?

I've been with a couple in their late 30's and I've been with a woman in her 50's, personally I think that the older the woman the more I'd enjoy it as I'm mature for my age and understand women and the way they think, I have always been like that and I would like to experience a much older lady to see if it is the same thing as i think.

That said I know the way it can be frowned upon and the worry that it can cause. I honestly see so many guys in thier 30s with 16/17 year old girlfriends and most of the time they dont get hassel, but for a woman to be with a young guy is seen as taking advantage and using them, why is that?

Probably not get any responses from this but just curious, what is the reality, what is the reasons/attractions that have to try it, and why are people so far away from realizing how far from reality most of it is, why are you put off by the thought just general thoughts and opinions on the whole thing, happy to hear from both sides and all ages of thier thoughts and experiences good and bad.

Well when I've been with older women one or two have had comments or digs from friends they have told.

Coming from a small village when I was with the 33 year old at 17 she got alot of comments and hassel, where as a friend of mine who had just turned 16 (female) started going out with a 35 year old and nothing was said about it.

Women seem to be the ones who get the grief if they go with a younger guy, older guys dont get anywhere near the same level of grief tho.

In my experiance, but keen to know others thoughts

I was 20 and met a man in his 40s. It was fine at the time but now someone 20 years older than me feels too old for me.

I guess it depends on which stage you are at in your own life.

I also don't think age determines if someone will cause drama or not.

I get a few messages from guys suggesting I'm an older woman. I suppose to someone in their 20s I am. It's not for me though. I find it all a bit cringey

I like people for who they are, not their age.

That said, my eldest son is 19. Anyone under 30 feels too young for me now because of that.

We always said no under 30 yrs but last year got chatting to a lovely females decided to bite the bullet and had a social and we clicked and she is 27 so we’ve had FF and MFF since and all good . Still keep in contact

So sometimes it depends on the person and not the age

Sometimes it can just be due to not having things in common? For me I wouldn't go for anyone even close to early 20's as my son is 19 and just feels wrong. Although strangely it wouldn't bother me if he dated someone in their 30's.

tl;dr

There's different aspects to this, and on a site like this, you have to separate love-relationship vs. casual.

In the former, you'd have to consider integration into your family/friend circle. In the latter, it's just the mutual desire & satisfaction that matters so age is irrelevant.

In addition, there are societal conventions and expectations, albeit that's all changing in modern times!

On fab, I'm not expecting anything serious, so I most often end up chatting to and meeting older women, and get along just fine

. Meet, have fun. Then go back to our personal lives

... And repeat....

Women my age/younger here seem to be immature/stuck up

I'm sure there are younger guys/girls on here who are genuine and sincere in their interest of older women.....but the cynic in me will always think I'd feel like a box to be ticked on a bucket list or a to do list.

Trust me an older guy with a younger woman especially in her teens is being called names, often behind their back though as the term begins with ped.

Personally for me they've got to be closer to my age than my sons (late teens), pain in the ass at times though with some hot young men out there. Guys being significantly older than me I've had very bad experiences with so I won't (not fab persons).

I met my other half when I was 20 and he was 30, we have never had an issue or ever had negative comments in the 6 years we have been together.

Oh, just to note I didn’t fall in love after one night and there’s been no drama.

We really do work amazingly well and we always get lovely comments about the chemistry we have.

Age - it can’t be ignored but it can also be unimportant.

Then there is the taboo aspect - young women wanting older men and vice versa - it’s a kink for some.

I don’t judge.

We all have things that are a no no and we all have our own kink.

I think it’s more important how we treat each other - with respect and kindness.

I see to many people on this site getting bent out of shape and I see to often that there is abuse and rude comments being made.
