Bees, hornets and wasps. The hornets are pretty small to what I've seen in S. A but our climate is changing and more people buying pool which reflects light, sunnier days, and people wearing light and brighter colours yellow and white as this is what draws them in, not to mention people gardening, planting flowers drawing in other insects so hornets will be having a feast right now. Just stay clear of the big ones, the bigger they are more damage they could do to a small child.

Do these guys have the ability to hover? I have a hoverer in the garden that seems to just stay in front of me like an inquisitive drone and stare at me, dart away and return.

I’ve been wondering what the hell it is.

The farm next door have been out spraying their field (it's vile) anyway, now I keep seeing big black things hovering in my garden. They have come from his field. Not sure what they are.

Big downside to country living!
