Ladies and shoes....

Never understood the fascination some Ladies seem have for shoes? Anyone help explain?

Additionally why do you think they most often are worn in porn. Be interesting to find out how many Scottish Fab members wear them at/ in private fun times or meets.

Just always wondered about that.

All comments welcome, thank you!

Love a nice pair of heels when going out but spend most of my time in wellies or trainers. Heels make my legs look longer.

Are you talking about hi heels or ugg boots?

The stiletto heel is designed that it straightens the calf and tightens the buttocks.

It also gives a contour and finishing look to what is initially your plates of meet.

Yes I probably have to many pairs and style's, but at least I have options lol.

Same goes for men. I always look at mens shoes if I'm out. I like a well dressed man

For me a lady in heels and those elongated legs are an amazing guide to run your eye from heel to arse

Compliments on both yours

It’s usually because they match an outfit bought for an occasion . I have 5 pairs of men’s shoes then replace if worn out . I have eight for dressing between heels and boots and not worn a pair out yet .

I'm chuckling that the OPs post asking about women's fascination with shoes has been taken over by men discussing shoes

I love my shoes. Have so many I don't wear or have never worn but can't part with any of them.

I feel better in them. It's nothing to do with anyone else or porn.

I don’t get the shoes and bag thing. I have what I need and nothing more. If I can get away without taking a handbag with me even better!!

I also hate shopping.

I have 5 bags - one is my standard go to used all the time bag, it’s been with me kinda since day one and has had many adventures with me.

Shoes, omg, easily 30 pairs, all suit or hav3 a reason, but have two standard go too’s, both need re-heeled.

Boots, again omg! Some very comfy, some for show, some waterproof for going dogging in.

Shopping - every one is an adventure! The clothes, shoes, the staff, the people - and coffee! Just need a hunky man to carry my bags....( any chilled jawed, muscled, tattooed , well endowed, well dressed and smell nice....please apply!)

I've known women with literally HUNDREDS of pairs of shoes....I personally have like half a dozen & thats only because certain feet go with certain clothes.

Trainers, flip flops, flat ankle boots, heeled ankle boots, mary janes & heeled brogues. Need to replace my knee highs & 'going out' heels.

I've never found the need to buy excessive shoes! You can only wear one pair at a time afterall!

Shoes. So many pairs: heels, flats, boots, courts, let me count thy ways to my purse...

And being a size 6... no limits on the range due to oversized feet.

I think for some men there's also a domination thing going on. Been told before they like to see a strong looking woman in heels towering above them.

I just like how they can completely change an outfit and my mood. Even when I was pregnant and felt like a potato....could still find a pair of shoes to fit me and cheer me up.

Love shoes - they always fit, even if you gain weight (to an extent). They don’t need replaced if you change shape. Have hundreds of pairs but from years of shopping! Heels are my favourite but not always practical

My feet have gone from a 4 to a 5 after having my youngest 4 months ago (no swelling, just bigger feet!). Just waiting to see if they will go back down before replacing my footwear! Luckily its warm enough for flip flops just now!

Mine went from a 5 to a 6 due to pregnancies, unfortunately they never went back. I had a huge collection of lovely shoes that I could no longer wear, the best ones I sold & the rest went to charity. I'm gradually rebuilding my collection up again. I adore shoes/heels!

I went from a 5 to a 6 with pregnancy and stayed a 6. Really does do strange things to your body!

I have some pairs of shoes for certain outfits but we are talking maybe 5 pairs if I exclude my work pumps, gym & everyday trainers and my cosey uggs.

Dresses however...that’s another story

I went from a 5 to a 6 post pregnancy but only for a few months and carrying a car seat/baby in heels was pretty hard anyway lol.

I hate shoes. I have a lovely pair of flat mary janes for work, walking boots, gardening boots and a pair of cons. Haven't worn heels since I fell off them at a Xmas do and pulled a ligament in my knee. Isn't worth the pain. Go for the cute shoe look now

Apparently, and i say, apparently, as im not professionaly qualified in the subject . But women's brain activity is supposed to heightened at the sight of a nice pair of heels

I ADORE shoes and boots!! Like ones that make a statement and make outfits just a little different.

Plus for me buying shoes is straight forward.. I like em ,they are size five and that's me done!! Buying clothes is completely different !! Find it a total pain as I'm a short arse and also not slender!! So just just love that with shoes I can just pretty much get what I want .

Edward Monkton summed this up eloquently in the following way...

The BEAUTIFUL FROCK

Buy me Lady," said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL and WHOLE and COMPLETE Human Being." "Do not be SILLY," said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that." "TRUE," said the Lady. "I will have the Shoes and the Bag as well."

While guys wear shoes for function, women have a variety to match the outfit.

However, the more I've read about men's shoes, the more shoes i want to buy

Nonetheless, i like a woman in heels. It accentuates their legs.
