Fake Profiles

Any views on the proliferation of seemingly fake (or at least highly dubious) profiles springing up at the moment?

Perhaps 'fake' isn't the best word, however when you see several new profiles with similar names and absolutely nothing in them then that looks odd to me at least.

Yes, I expect you're right. Symptom of the current climate I guess. My boredom's led me to cutting off my hair. Probably should have cut the grass instead.

Boredom curiosity horny a variety of reasons, they wanna have a quick perve but don't want to keep an active profile most likely because they're not single

Lots of folk woth dormant profiles they've reactivated as well because of the lockdown they're also bored and then there's the folk who have multiple profiles so they can stalk folk who have blocked them etc so they can spy and create trouble

I did wonder if it was for the latter reason, which isn't very nice.

When I first joined I had nothing on my profile, not a photo, no blurb. Within an hour there was over 50 messages in my inbox.

I quickly deleted the account because it seemed creepy.

I bet I'm not the only one

Yeah They usually claim to want nothing to do with you yet they watch your every move snooping on what your upto.

I agree with all of the above regarding fake accounts

There is definitely an increase in dodgy accounts recently. Just this week I have had two message me that had stolen photos (I reverse image searched) then of course there are the ones who are overly keen and then want photos from you within a few messages. We might have to start verifying via a quick video chat I think...

You would be surprised at the number of so called genuine ppl on here who have more than one profile.

Some use it to dupe others

Some use it to spy on ppl who have blocked them

And some just have many different profiles because they can.

It is the amount of 'couples' profiles we have had messages from in the last few days.... clearly guys pretending to be a couple. Just had to report another one tonight
