It was a historic day yesterday as google dropped its cencorship and on youtube too, so now something that they considered political incorrect is now political correct.

Notice how I use the word "they" there, they are now displaying those search result that they thought was inpolitical correct so a search result before the change might just of displayed few links but now it reulted in 20 million links as one tested it out.

In other news many bosses around this time stepped down including bill gates, who else thinks this is a good change in the right direction?

I hope this would be a snowball effect where the rest of the media and newspapers would follow the same direction as the truth is important and cant be filtered out

It's important at a time when millions of lives are very vulnerable, that misinformation that could lead to greater danger for us all, is potentially filtered out by the technology these companies have.

Many individuals and some organisations have benefitted from the lies told upon vaccine safety - they're very safe. Many have died as a result, such as with measles outbreaks, caused by lies creating fear, so parents didn't vaccinate kids.

The other relevant events are elections. We already know that election results have been affected by the distribution of lies and subversive materials, including by foreign governments.

If we permit intelligent search engines and other Internet services to be overridden by whoever wants to, at the potential cost of many lives, or rigging elections so they deliver dangerous outcomes, that aren't truly democratic, then we are fools.
