So there we all were hating Greta Thunberg for saying we should work from home, not travel as much, use less to wipe etc. Saying how redicilous her ideas were .... all to save 100% of the world's population..... in the future...

Now here we are, working from home, missing school, not travelling, wiping with less and doing all those things that three months ago were redicilous... to save 3.4% of the population... now...

What a quandary...

They won't notice. They are all out stockpiling toilet paper.

Those people don't need toilet paper. They've all got the Daily Mail to hand. Finally a perfect use for that rag.

A virus that will kill many people all around the world is never a good thing. It's crazy that this even has to be stated.

The point is... first there was coronavirus denial... now there is coronavirus reality.

What will follow climate change denial?

A reality that is irreversible and result in so much suffering that it will make this pandemic look like nothing.?

Yeah, why do we bother ever taking medicine or going to the hospital? Or getting vaccinations? We should all just die whenever. Nature innit.

There is a certain irony that the same people I heard whinging and whining in the shops today about there being no toilet paper probably voted for the current government.

Perhaps they will reconsider their vote when they are being treated for COVID-19 in a tent in the hospital parking lot.

I think Corbyn dodged a bullet.

Well it can't have been your sparkys brickies and carpenters. They were all at work. Supposedly.

I walked down the loo paper isle expecting to see empty shelves, which I did. I just laughed and shook my head as did most people. There was an old lady kicking off about it though. I just wondered who she thought was at fault.

Nope. I'm saying we are prepared to take drastic measures to prevent a virus spreading but aren't prepared to take measures to save the planet. What's worse?

Not yours. Theirs.

There are people on this site who have underlying health conditions who could be quite upset by your casual dismissal of their potential demise. Yet you are easily offended by any hint of derision at your social standing. Do you not see yourself as expecting sensitivity whilst showing none on your part? Not having a go at you just trying to understand your reasoning...

Ah got it. Prolonging life artificially is wrong. So we should avoid taking medicine when we get ill. Or getting an operation if we need one to save our lives. So we should just avoid such things then? You're clearly a medical expert.

My grandfather was in a magazine photographed attending an open air concert fit as a fiddle at age 95. Nothing artificial keeping going, just a farmer who ate fresh foods. In the UK the average age has been increasing year on year until recently. In other countries it is still progressing.
