Its been kicking off for ages on the islands of chios,lesbos and samos riots over turning the islands into refugee centres but dont seem to get much news on it here.I like to watch france24 to get whats really happening in europe.

didnt hungray get bollocked last time they tried to stop em coming through.the few they were interviewing on the news all seem to be trying to get to germany if it becomes a flood like last time i wonder if merkel will be so welcoming or will others be forced to take em all this time

Yes they did but orban did the right thing. I can see if turkey let them in we will see another wave like of what happened in 2015 lets hope merkel will do something about it this time around.

nothing to do with turkey letting more in erdogan has told the ones already in turkey in camps that the border is open

So many commentson social media being "thankfull" that we are out of the EU with all these new migrants heading out of Turkey...

I mean really??? Do you think they will change their mind now about coming to the UK as we are no longer in the EU? I personally foresee the channel crossing situation becoming a bigger problem (for the UK) than it was before.

Saw in French paper today that some areas of Eastern Europe including the old east Germany are complaining about young people moving into better off areas and leaving said areas full of older people, Germany has announced new rules to make it easier for non unskilled workers in, they dont appear to have learnt the lessons of the problems this can cause, the fact that this policy uses these immigrants as a lower class of people to do jobs these liberals consider beneath them goes over their heads modern day version of slave trade

If they all decide to leave and head for the EU, then thats around 134k per EU country.

Will the EU step in, and offer Turkey more deals to keep them there, or just stand aside and see what happens?

Spring will soon be here, the exodus will begin.

Greece temporarily suspending asylum claims and deploying anyone who now enters illegally.

Just watching the clashes at the border. Water cannons and tear gas against stones.

Greece suffered for years under the punishing austerity measures imposed by the EU it’s not a happy country at the moment.
