It sometimes takes people years to realise that they are victims of grooming and yet for others the pain is real, immediate and current,

The worst form of grooming is psychological because the victims are so utterly convinced of the normality of the world that they have become accustomed to.

Political grooming is particularly insidious form of psychological grooming because it utilises the tools given freely by social and electronic media to enable people to brainwash themselves.

How do you know if you are a victim?

Answer yes to just one of these questions and perhaps you should examine the way that you allow your own media consumption to politically groom you.

1) Do you feel married to a political ideology to the point that opposition to it indicates that said opposition is clearly deranged?

2) Do you feel the need to respond to anyone who questions your ideology by questioning their intelligence?

3) Do you feel the need to attack the Messenger when someone argues against something that you believe in?

4) Do you feel that voting for any political Party other than your favoured one is complete madness?

5) Do you manage your news consumption so that you only read the news items that your bias wants to read?

You saw the look at PMQs when Boris got called a liar and he had no bluster when he was finally caught out. Wish I can remember who it was. As it makes for great viewing.

I think it was more a jibe at his lies. I can’t remember but it was across the despatch box. May have even been JC.

For somebody who spends a huge amount of time on here belittling anything left of centre and abusing anyone who disagrees with your god given opinions thats a very sad thing to for you to say. Actually I have made lots of constructive points like staying on topic, keeping away from personal attacks (mea culpa in this case) and encouraging debate.
