well off the top of my head cummins was against HS2, which was announced yesterday is going ahead doesn't seem like a guy in charge to me.Now give me one of your facts where he has overturned one of PM,s wishes.

Ok, fair comment . It is hard to deny that Cummings wasn’t the main reason why the U.K. voted to leave though? The public might not know who he is but they certainly voted for what he has been doing .

He was also hugely influential in the Tories election campaign. I also think he was the one who forced Javid out, which is huge, an advisor being able to oust a chancellor ?

Yeah, apparently Cummings has been given charge of all advisors and Boris wanted more connection between No10 & N11 so Cummings had the authority to demand Javid got rid of his advisors and to use N10's new advisor group instead.

So that left Javid with the choice of sacking all his own advisors and loosing authority within the Chancellor role walk.
