There is no downside (for the rich and powerful)

Yeah and how many billions did the Britons living off food banks make out of Brexit.

What's hilarious is your sudden inability to use the reply and quote button. Too complicated for you? Or just not enough confidence in your own argument to directly reply to someone. Try growing a pair

Yes you don’t know much do you. Brexit happened officially a few hours ago. No really - it did . We have left the EU. Officially . Please read the relevant documents both signed by our govt and the EU if you can’t grasp reality. But one thing you said is correct ( for a change). Yes, the UK has entered a transition phase during which certain details will be agreed to. If you need any more help, please don’t hesitate to get back to me. I’m here to help. Thank you.

"An 11-month transition period has begun and the UK will largely stick to EU rules.

The really big changes will come when that transition ends. But the EU really is now a club of 27 members and not 28."

So back to the argument of how the poor will be better off.... how do they become better off when not much changes?

I presume were all going to vote for what we think is best and when we vote for them hope they implement what they say!.

I don't hold out much hope on that though although I think it's started to sink in to politicians that they really do need to listen to voters.

Of course. All great economies start off with a period of self imposed isolation and severing of economic ties.

Funny how we shouldn't read the Guardian who are the left wing press. We should believe a person who is a proven liar and read a rag who was found guilty in court for printing lies.

"I'm in so many conversations at the moment about people whose companies are downsizing and retrenching.... is this preparation for the economic boom to come?"

Here we are after nearly 4 years of you remoaning, whining, whinging and complaining and you cant give it up .

You have nothing whatsoever positive to say about your own country. Not a clue about respecting a democratic decision.Your profile should be 'Mr Negative'.

Another thing, you can always move to one of the many EU countries you love so much if you think our country is up shit creek. Why not put your money where your mouth is and move to France or Bulgaria.

Are you moaning about me moaning ? it's a forum. People express views. Or has that gone out the window too?

Actually I was thinking Spain but I hear the queues are really long, lots of negative people getting residentia while they still can.

Personally I stand to make a lot of money out of Brexit. It's April 6 when this government shoots off it's other foot with IR35 that's of concern.

But Nigel’s little face, he was so excited, there must have been at least 5,000 there, huge numbers for the greatest day in our history . It was such a diverse crowd as well, people of all ages and some were sporting some lovely tattoos and mullets . The fireworks were a huge success and even Tim ‘The Mullet’ Martin made a speech which many have compared to Martin Luther Kings ‘I have a dream’ effort . What a night to remember

Yeah, i have literally made a fortune in one day because of Brexit, which I will spend on myself , I might even set fire to a wad of £20 notes, just because I can . I don’t care about poverty and the poor, I am a Brexit man and money is my master . Nigel & Boris have shown me the way, I am so exited that I just let out a little fart and followed through, I don’t care though . Freedom at last
