"Hahaha loving this thread already. At least we get to keep our national flag now and don't have to adopt the god awful ring of stars flag " That flag represents the council of europe, of which we remain a part even after Brexit. AS such it should still be flown. But jingoistic people who don’t understand facts will do a little dance tonight seeing it taken down.

Or unless the Scots start to see thru the SNP and there shit record and stop voting for them?. They'll never unify Ireland in anybody's life time on here, it would be an utter disaster and back to civil war, Northern Ireland could go independent but I doubt they will and Wales will never leave the Union (it's full of English people) ![]() ![]()

"Boris border in the Irish Sea....... They are talking a £15m bridge from Portpatrick in Scotland to Larne solves the Border problem " Sorry fella Brexit is eye wateringly expensive.and your way off with your figure it’s an estimated £15 billion...!! £15 million would probably cover the feasibility study and a few backhanders. ![]()

Could the EU give us the 15 billion back out of the 33 billion were giving them as an infrastructure farewell present. We could even put a sign on the bridge saying paid for out of EU money the UK gave them?. ![]()

"Stick a Union Jack on it and build it with Sheffield steel and use hard as nails Geordies to construct it ,in this glorious new age of wealth that’s upon us. Alternatively get the Chinese to build it at 25% less and in half the time if your an unpatriotic conservative minister. ![]() Love this

"O.P....... Glad you are now free of the hatred of the E.U. dictatorship... What are YOU now free to do with your new found freedom ? We can now abandon the crazy metric system and bring back imperial measurements. I know this was one or the main reasons I voted Brexit " Does this mean you are going back to Pounds, Shillings and Pence.... and possibly Pecks, Bushels and suchlike... I’d imagine a lot of schoolchildren are looking forward to calculating 7/10 ths of a crowns worth of a Peck of Pickled Peppers !

"Is it true that more people in Scotland voted for Brexit in 2016 than voted for the SNP in the last election ? If there us some Anorak out there with the actual figures id like to know as it may be an urban myth." Found that interesting so looked at the figures the snp got 1.24m votes in the last election and the figure for scotish leave votes was 1.43m so seems its not an urban myth.

"Is it true that more people in Scotland voted for Brexit in 2016 than voted for the SNP in the last election ? If there us some Anorak out there with the actual figures id like to know as it may be an urban myth." That’s hardly surprising given the respective turnouts for both events.

Interesting statistic , it is also not an " urban myth" that in the General Election more people voted for parties who wanted to either stop brexit or at least have a confirmatory vote to see if what we were getting is actually what we want ,than voted for parties who simply wanted to get brexit done , meaning that despite an 80 seat majority the " let's get brexit done" argument was lost

It has a parliamentary system . The Conservative party gained the most votes and the most seats. They formed the government. Whichever way you twist it is just sour grapes. If the country truly wanted to remain in the uk, they would have voted to ensure that happened

I am not disputing what you say merely pointing out what happened in the General Election in response to the previous posts about how many voted SNP in the Election and brexit in the referendum in Scotland ,,,with regard your "sour grapes" comment ,I do wish we had remained , still wish we will remain or rejoin the EU in the very near future and I am still baffled how 17.4 million people can vote to control our borders then meekly accept that we aren't having a border between the UK and the EU where we have a land border then despite claiming we are one country ( the UK) treat Northern Ireland differently to Wales or Lancashire or Surrey or London or Aberdeen or Torquay etc,,,
