Delayed Evacuation Flights from china, Brexit to blame?

The UK has had difficulty getting evacuation flights cleared to leave China.

US has had them leave and land in California.

Australia has had them leave and land in christmas island.

Even Irish people have been flown to France.

So whats the hold up with the UK flights? Dwindling importance on the world stage? Not being part of a 520 million market and not having that kind of weight behind the requests?

Absolutely nothing to do with Brexit. The issue is that China is not allowing anyone with Chinese citizenship to leave even if they are dual Chinese/UK citizens.

This issue is being resolved and they should be allowed to leave soon.

The UK is not the only country to have had evacuation flights delayed.

Australia and New Zealand are among those still waiting to go. Delays have also occurred, due to certain countries having to relocate Consular officials from Shangai.

As I understand it, our flight will be in the air shortly, and will be bringing back around 50 Spanish citizens, who will be flown to Spain, after the UK citizens have been landed at Brize Norton.

"I heard climate change is to blame."

Should have sent Greta on her boat to get them rather than a plane

"Chinese people have been denied visa's by European embassies. How racist and inhuman they are. "

As have most countries around the world. Add Russia, USA, Pakistan, Australia, Japan and many others to the list.

The World is scared, and rightly so.

Costa Blanca Spain...

I thought it was something to do with the airline selling Mexican beer.

It got the Chinese all confused when someone said stuff a slice of lime in the neck. A cure maybe.

Of course it's Corbyn's fault.

Rumour has it that the virus could have been taken out with a surgical strike.

Corbyn arranged a Not In My Name don't kill the virus protest so the idea was dropped.
