The abject failure of Labour is summed up by Dennis Skinner losing Bolsover by 5000 vote!

So, its goodbye to the firebrand Dennis Skinner, once scourge of the Conservatives, and whatever party you support, you cannot fault his commitment over the years.

Hopefully, he'll find valuable work with the Dementia causes he champions.

While I rarely agreed with his views, I always had total respect for him, he never changed his views to curry favour just a shame there aren't more like him

I quite agree. A fine representative of the people and will be much missed in the house.

Many MPs could learn much from him.

And another hero loses his seat....well I hope he moves up to the lords along with ken clarke....at least there will still be some decent people in politics if they do
